BIOGRAPHY
Both as a former social worker and as a lawyer-mediator,
CINNIE NOBLE, C.M., B.S.W., LL.B., LL.M. (ADR) is the President of Noble Solutions & CINERGY Coaching has practiced and studied conflict management for over 20 years. Through Noble Solutions, Cinnie and her associates provide a wide range of services related to helping organizations and individuals manage conflict. Through CINERGY Coaching, Cinnie and her associates also provide life coaching and a unique model of coaching to help people improve the way they deal with conflicts personally and professionally.

Cinnie Noble is a lawyer-mediator and a former social worker. President of Noble Solutions Inc., Cinnie has been practicing mediation since 1992. The practice encompasses civil, commercial, workplace and employment disputes. She also mediates family and human rights issues. Cinnie is a roster mediator for several organizations, including the Ontario Mandatory Mediation Program, the Toronto Family Mediation Pilot Project, the Royal Bank Financial Group and the Canadian Automobile Association.
Professional Organizations:
Cinnie is a member-at-large of the national ADR Section of the Canadian Bar Association. In 1996-1997 she chaired the Ontario Section’s Code of Conduct Committee and in 1999, chaired the ADR Section’s subcommittee which reviewed the Rules of Professional Conduct for the Law Society of Upper Canada. She is also a member of the Dispute Resolution Section of the American Bar Association and The Network.
Educator/Trainer:
Cinnie has extensive experience designing and conducting mediation training programs for both government and private industry. She has also been actively involved in training mediators in Jamaica as part of a Social Conflict Legal Reform project. Cinnie is also an instructor at the University of Toronto and York University in their Certificate in Continuing Studies in Dispute Resolution programs. Cinnie recently developed a course entitled "Workplace Dispute Resolution", which she is now teaching at the University of Toronto. In 1998, she taught at the University of Windsor Law School and she has also been a guest lecturer at Osgoode Hall Law School.

Cinnie has been a coach since November, 1999, receiving her training through CoachU and Corporate Coach U. She is a member of the International Coach Federation
and Board Member of the Toronto area Chapter.
Background:
Cinnie has a Bachelors of Social Work degree (Honours) from York University and a law degree from the University of Windsor. Cinnie completed an internship with Family Mediation Services of Ontario in 1988, Harvard Law School’s Mediation Workshop in 1995, and a Certificate in Mediating Employee Relations Disputes in 1997. She was one of the first graduates to obtain a Masters in Law in Alternate Dispute Resolution from Osgoode Hall Law School in June, 1997.

Cinnie is co-author of the book "Mediation Advocacy", published in 1998. Her book "Family Mediation: A Guide for Lawyers", was published in 1999. She is currently writing a book on conflict coaching.
Cinnie was appointed a Member of the Order of Canada in 1990 for her pioneering work in the travel industry, for people with disabilities. |
